This course gives students a fundamental understanding of residential construction, including an overview of the industry’s historical beginnings, project dimensions, and future direction. Students who successfully complete this course will thoroughly understand projects involving the building, renovation, or restoration of single-family residences and apartment complexes, concentrating on structures no taller than four floors in height.
